2024 Hangzhou International Shell Exhibition

This exhibition will gather rare shells from around the world. In addition, professional shell experts will be invited to interpret the marine culture and ecological knowledge behind the shells. Shell craft kits will also be available, allowing visitors to create their own shell artwork.

“Building” a tree art exhibition

Mario Alonso Piano Concert

Mario Alonso is known as one of the European pianists “most familiar with China,” having extensive knowledge of famous Chinese classical music. The “Piano Prince”, Mario, will create a dreamy and vintage classical music scene with his appealing and heart-comforting musicianship.

Qiantang International Theatre Festival: “The Cherry Orchard”

After 34 years, Rimas Tuminas, known as the director who “understands Chekhov best”, once again directed “The Cherry Orchard”. The 120th-anniversary edition of the stage play “The Cherry Orchard” was Anton Chekhov’s last play, written in 1903, starring Jin Xing and presented by her troupe. This also marked Tuminas’ final stage work before he passed away in March at the age of 72. His unique approach split the original four-act play into two halves, offering a new interpretation of the heroine, setting this version apart.
