The Olympic Council of Asia has announced that the NOC Chefs de Mission (CDM) Seminar for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou will be held from Apr 25 to 27, five months before the opening ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games.
The three-day CDM Seminar is an important milestone for Hangzhou Asian Games. During the Seminar, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee will officially release the latest qualification policies, procedures and relevant information to the participating National (Regional) Olympic Committees. Previously, the online CDM Seminar of Hangzhou Asian Games was successfully held from Sept 8 to 9, 2021.
Preparations for the Hangzhou Asian Games are progressing in an orderly manner. The "Fun Run to the Hangzhou Asian Games" in Tajikistan will be launched on Apr 19 at Dushanbe.
To better gear up for the games, the "Exciting Hangzhou" series championships has been held in various competition venues, with more national and Asian level games coming up in the following months, including the 2023 Asian Games Senior Kurash Championship & World Kurash Series Qualifer (WSP) which will kick off on Apr 28, which is the first time that China holds a Kurash Intercontinental event.
