On Apr 7, the Chinese President Xi Jinping held an informal meeting with the French President Emmanuel Macron in Songyuan, Guangzhou, and invited Macron to dinner. The Chinese cultural connotation and the unique charm of the state banquet porcelain caught the attention of many people.
The tableware for the banquet was designed and produced by Zhejiang Nansong Ceramics Co., Ltd, a cultural manufacturing enterprise in Linping district of Hangzhou.
Established in 2006, the Nansong Ceramics is a national high-tech enterprise and a Chinese national porcelain manufacturer specializing in the design and production of ceramics for daily-use, with a provincial-level R&D center and a ceramic craft master studio. Up to now, it has participated in the design and production of large-scale porcelain projects, such as the G20 Hangzhou Summits, the SCO Summit in Qingdao, the 7th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the Bo'ao Forum for Asia, and the China Import Expo, etc. It has also been selected as a licensed production and retail enterprise for the upcoming 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
