More luxury hotels and resorts are open or set to open in Hangzhou, according to the hospitality industry resources.
In 2022, Dusit International, a Thai hospitality company, launched its Dusit Thani Tianmu Mountain resort in Lin'an. The resort features 160 rooms and villas that take advantage of the stunning surroundings of towering trees, lush valleys, and mountain peaks.
The first Hyatt Place hotel in the city, Hyatt Place Hangzhou International Airport, has opened with 472 rooms, as a part of the Hyatt Place brand's global expanding plan.
The hotel features the brand's signature design, casual atmosphere, and practical amenities such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings. Located in the airport terminals with a direct access to the departure and arrival halls and ground transport center via indoor walkways, the hotel's design and amenities are aimed at providing a seamless and convenient experience for its guests.
Accor, a leader in the luxury hospitality sector, is a partner of the Zhejiang Tourism Investment Group to launch a new Emblems Collection hotel near the West Lake, a UNESCO world heritage site in Hangzhou. The 126-room resort will feature an artistic theme and is expected to open in 2024.
The hotel will promote environmentally sustainable practices and offer guests a tranquil setting surrounded by nature, reflecting the unique history and culture of Hangzhou as well as embodying the spirit and heritage of the West Lake. It will also be conveniently located near several tourist attractions and is within proximity to the airport and city center.
The new Emblems Collection hotel will be situated at No. 1 Yanggong Causeway, providing guests with a convenient access to the popular tourist spots like the Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond. It is also within 20 minutes of several other attractions.
Another luxury hotel, Rosewood Hangzhou, is scheduled to open in Wangjiang New City in 2026.
