An "Asian Games Youth V Station" converted from a former nucleic acid testing booth has been recently put into use in Xiushui community, Xiaoshan district.
The Station offers water, bicycle pumps, umbrellas, first-aid medicines and other daily necessities with two volunteers on duty. It is also where you can acquire information about the Hangzhou Asian Games via pamphlets.
More "Asian Games Youth V Stations" will be set up in key areas such as transportation hubs and squares. During the Asian Games and the Asian Para Games, they will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the city and providing volunteer services to the guests and tourists from home and abroad.
The promotion of the Asian Games is in full swing. Two "Fun Run to the Hangzhou Asian Games" events kicked off in Hulhumalé, Maldives on Feb 4 and in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Feb 7, before five more debuting in other South and South-East Asian countries including Bhutan, Qatar, Nepal, Pakistan and Singapore this month.
