A fun-filled evening of good food, combined with a few beverages, was enjoyed by friends on this special day to celebrate women in all their many busy roles. Our Hangzhou Rotary International President, Sarah, who herself wears several different hectic hats, expertly organized the event, starting at Blue Frog, which employs women as head managers and where we feasted on their delicacies. Our group of diverse nationalities particularly wanted to support women-owned or managed businesses, so we then proceeded to the quiet ambiance of A.S.N. for more lubrication of our tonsils and perhaps ever-taller stories.
Next, we soldiered on to the cozy Chimney to sample their renowned array of cocktails, which didn’t disappoint. Finally, we rounded off a terrific evening at the extremely spacious Sunrise Lounge, where the well-trained, friendly staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.
Sincere congratulations and thanks must go to these entrepreneurial women, along with their affable and attentive staff, for providing us with an unforgettable evening.
