On Nov 8, the Wulin Star Expo Center, located at 33 Hangyang Street, Gongshu district, Hangzhou, officially opened.

In the 1950s, the riverside of the Grand Canal, including Hanggang Park (formerly Hangzhou Iron and Steel Plant) and Xiaohe Park (formerly Xiaohe Oil Depot), was Hangzhou’s heavy industrial zone. Established in August 1950, Zhejiang Iron Factory began producing oxygen separation equipment in 1954, eventually becoming Hangzhou Oxygen Machine Factory. In 2009, the factory relocated, marking a new beginning for the historical site.

Since April 30 this year, Hangzhou Convention & Exhibition Group Co., Ltd. has been managing the Wulin Star Expo Center, pioneering an innovative exhibition and commerce operational model. The venue has hosted numerous city-level exhibitions and events, including the World Leisure Expo, West Lake International Expo, 2024 Asia Design Management Forum & Ideal Life Fair (ADM), and the China (Hangzhou) International E-commerce Expo, continually expanding its network and breathing new life into the old factory.

Spanning over 30,000 square meters, this year’s ADM, with the theme “Proposal”, features four internationally themed exhibitions, five forums, and over 100 activities.
