Holidays offer a great opportunity to explore the city we live in. During the weekdays, we’re often overwhelmed with work, studies, and other responsibilities, leaving us little time to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of the nature around us. That’s why we decided to explore the Longjing tea fields during China’s National Day.
Together with friends from the Hangzhou Russian-speaking community, we spent over five hours hiking, enjoying breathtaking views, local tea, and sunny weather. The Longjing tea fields are a must-visit for anyone who has the chance to come to Hangzhou. At the top of the hill, we took some photos, organized a picnic, and played board games. For any expat, it’s always a pleasure to spend time with fellow citizens. We often say that even though our families are far away, we have each other, and together, we’re like one big family here.
