The remarkable encounter, documented by a vigilant netizen, showcases the robot accurately implementing the entire refueling process, from opening the fuel tank cap to inserting the fuel nozzle into the awaiting vehicle.
The viral video captures the robot's precision in action. Initiating the process, the robot affixes a "support platform" beneath the fuel tank cap, followed by the use of a laser radar to pinpoint the fuel inlet. With a swift extension of its arm, the robot delicately taps the tank cap and unscrews it.
The climactic moment unfolds as the robot skillfully extracts the fuel nozzle with its gripper, seamlessly inserting it into the fuel tank for a swift and efficient refueling experience.
Identified as the "YiGongLi Energy Arm," this cutting-edge refueling robot made its debut at the Nanyang gas station in Hangzhou, boasting the ability to accurately discern the structure of over 90% of passenger car fuel tank caps.
Upon receiving the refueling command, the YiGongLi Energy Arm completes the entire process--from opening the tank cap to recapping--in a remarkable 120 seconds, significantly enhancing the efficiency of refueling.
