China is trialing visa-free travel policies for ordinary passport holders from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia to boost people-to-people exchanges and high-level opening-up.

In the year from Dec. 1 to the next Nov. 30, holders of ordinary passports from the above-mentioned six countries can enter China visa-free for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends and transit for no more than 15 days.

Meanwhile, an array of measures has been rolled out to enhance travel experiences.

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has recently released a series of services to take care of passengers' extra load on their short trips. The services cover free repacking after the open-case security check, free shower rooms, temporary luggage storage, free shuttle vehicles, and a new waiting room with multiple functions.

In addition, translation services are bolstered by offering assistances in multiple languages such as English, French and Italian. Flight schedules to popular international cities are expanded and direct intercontinental routes are added.
