Expanded routes and streamlined services at Hangzhou Airport
Since the beginning of this year, Hangzhou International Airport has focused on developing routes to “Belt and Road” countries and expanding long-haul routes to Europe, Australia, and Africa, enhancing global connectivity.
Newly added and resumed international passenger routes include Sapporo, Vientiane, Ho Chi Minh City, Chiang Mai, Kalibo, Nagoya, Shizuoka, Melbourne, and Muan, bringing the total to 35 international and regional destinations across 20 countries and four continents.
In addition, 16 international-to-international routes were launched to enable seamless connectivity between nine hubs across Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
Since October, the airport launched its international-to-domestic and domestic-to-international transfer halls, offering transit passengers the convenience of “one-ticket transfers” and “through-checked luggage,” saving over 100 minutes in customs processing time.
