3rd GDTE eyes to boost global digital trade cooperation

The third Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) will take place at Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center from Sep 25 to 29, showcasing an unprecedented scale and an array of highlights in exhibitions, activities, achievements and online trade.

Spanning 150,000 square meters, the expo will set up one Comprehensive Pavilion and eight characteristic digital industry pavilions, namely data & finance, Silk Road e-commerce, artificial intelligence, smart city, digital entertainment, digital & intelligent travel, digital health care, consumer electronics exhibition area, showing the future trends and directions of trade under the new digital technologies.

The expo aims to leverage global digital trade resources to enhance cooperation and promote development. Up to now, leading global digital trade enterprises such as Alibaba, iFlytek, Astrazeneca and Tesla have confirmed their participation. The event is expected to attract over 1,500 exhibitors, with an international participation rate exceeding 20%.

Kazakhstan and Thailand, as the guest countries of honor, will showcase their achievements and experience in digital trade in the Comprehensive Pavilion. The United Nations, ASEAN and other international organizations, along with global leading enterprises, will work together to promote the global cooperation and development in digital trade through a series of theme activities.

During the expo, cutting-edge technologies, including digital avatars, blockchain, artificial intelligence, naked-eye 3D, will enhance online application scenarios online and create interactive, immersive experiences for visitors.

In addition, the organizer have optimized and upgraded the “Digital Trade Online” platform, improving its capabilities for product display, deal-making, business negotiations and more. It will facilitate global procurement and business matching online throughout the year, extending the impact of the expo beyond the event itself.
