New venue opens with great living experience in art and creativity

On July 12, the final day of the 2024 “Hangzhou Liangzhu Day” series of events, the Liangzhu 5000+ Art & Creative Industry Park (hereinafter referred to as “Liangzhu 5000+”) officially opened its doors, marking a milestone in the development of the Liangzhu Cultural Corridor.

Covering a total area of approximately 24,000 square meters, the Liangzhu 5000+ features exhibition halls, performance spaces, office areas, entrepreneurial commercial zones, and entertainment and leisure areas.

With the opening of the park, a series of three-month-long activities have been rolled out, including international art exhibitions, creative trend markets, live music feasts, and diverse stage performances, further showcasing the cultural and artistic ambiance of the park. The park is striving to become a popular spot for trendsetting culture and leisure life in the city.

The park features ten pavilions, showcasing a wide array of artistic expressions and lifestyle trends. These include exhibitions, collaborative art projects, multimedia performances, trendy markets, and unique day-to-night experiences.

Pavilion 1: Joint Exhibition of Contemporary Masters and Rising Stars

This exhibition features works by artists such as Picasso, Salvador Dalí, and Zhang Daqian, capturing the essence of contemporary art’s evolution and inviting viewers into a deep conversation about humanity, society, and culture.

Pavilion 2: Market for Handicrafts

The “Liangzhu Vitality × Second Nature” artisan market features handcrafted items and designer goods, showcasing the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Pavilion 3: Various performances including “Mezzotono’s Wonderful Vocal Show” “The Secret of the Science Magic Party” and “The Fantastic Candy House.”

Pavilion 4: “Oriental Totem: Faces of Liangzhu” Co-Creation Exhibition

Artists create works inspired by Liangzhu culture, blending modern art with ancient heritage. Visitors can also participate in creating totem artworks or sculptures.

Pavilion 5: Shadow Play Light and Shadow Show

The world’s first immersive Shadow Play Light and Shadow Show, covering over 1,000 square meters, blends traditional shadow play with modern technology for an unparalleled visual and cultural feast.

Stroll through the park’s pop-up shops or visit Pavilion 6’s unique “Day Café Night Bar” space, you will find they are nice places to enjoy coffee and music with friends. Nearby, the Alice-themed window displays in Pavilions 8-10 invite visitors into a fairy-tale world, and art installations along Vitality Avenue and Dopamine Street add vibrant creativity and color to the park.
