A new international route from Hangzhou to Melbourne has been launched at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.

Effective on June 24, eligible passengers on flights operated by China Eastern Airlines and its subsidiary Shanghai Airlines, who are traveling to or from any civil aviation airports in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui in the Yangtze River Delta, can change their departure or destination airport within this region without paying a cancellation fee and can receive a full refund if their travel plans change. If you need to change your departure or destination airport, you may purchase a new ticket for the revised itinerary, cancel your original booking, and, after arriving at your destination with the new ticket, apply for a refund of the original ticket, selecting "Regional Connections" as the reason for the refund.
