The Radcliffe Wave, spanning 9000 light-years, is the largest known stellar structure in the Milky Way galaxy. Often called a “stellar nursery”, it inspires dreams and molds our future. Similarly, the number “9000” symbolizes the young generations born after the 1990s and 2000s, heirs to this impressive legacy.

Ever wondered what life on Mars is like? Travel on Hangzhou Metro Line 5 towards Jin Xing (Venus) Station and you might find some answers. Every day, five special trains allow passengers to simulate life on Mars. Until the end of this month, you can interact with Mars-themed decor and astronaut figures, snap photos on these trains. You can even receive a personalized “Martian ID” and create AI-generated images of yourself on Mars by scanning a unique event QR code.

The journey on this special train reveals numerous surprises, such as the “Linpu Crater,” exclusive to Hangzhou residents. Two years ago, when the “Zhu Rong” Mars rover carried by the “Tianwen-1” mission officially landed on the surface of Mars, a nearby crater called “Linpu” suddenly caught the public’s attention. Named after Linpu town in Xiaoshan district of Hangzhou, the crater has been dubbed the “Martian Village”. Many residents from Linpu town have come to take photos on the designated crater scene on Line 5.

Additionally, the metro features various slogans from science fiction films such as The Wandering Earth.

This event is a collaboration between the City Express, Hangzhou Metro, and Fine-Sun Media.
