Before the Chinese New Year of the Dragon, many shops in Hangzhou had put on notices of their closures.
Among the notices, the one from a snack shop selling Quzhou ducks located around Hangzhou's Shanxian metro station stood out with a tinge of sweetness.
It turned out that the owners of the shop are lovebirds, and the notice stated that they would be closing the store early to return home for their wedding.
On Feb 26, the shop reopened with the notice overwritten with the customers' heartfelt blessings.
Aside from the marinated ducks on the shelves, the newlyweds placed on a table heaps of wedding candies which were all hand-packed by them upon their return in Hangzhou to be handed out to the lovely customers.
The first happy receiver of the candies was a girl from a coffee shop. She admitted to be one of the authors of the messages on the notice and she couldn't wait to share the joy of the wedlock of this couple.
"I remember that during Hangzhou Asian Games last year, there was a slogan, 'Let life warm life, and let strength inspire strength.' I also want to pass on this joy to everyone," said Zhang Yaping, the groom.
