CNY celebrations
Chinese New Year at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University Hangzhou was an unforgettable celebration filled with joy and cultural richness. The university organized a vibrant evening dinner that brought together students in a festive atmosphere. The air was filled with excitement and happiness as we gathered to mark the auspicious occasion. The tradition of receiving red envelopes added a special touch to the festivities. These envelopes, filled with money, symbolized good luck and prosperity for the upcoming year. The joyous moments spent with friends and fellow students, sharing laughter and traditional foods, created lasting memories.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the opportunity for personal expression. Inspired by the festive spirit, I decided to create a dragon painting. The dragon, a symbol of strength and good fortune in Chinese culture, seemed a fitting tribute to the occasion. As I unveiled my artwork during the event, the response was overwhelming. Peers and faculty appreciated the effort and creativity put into the painting, making the experience even more special. It was heartening to witness the positive impact of artistic expression within the community.
The act of creating the dragon painting not only contributed to the festive ambiance but also allowed for a deeper connection with the cultural significance of the New Year. The supportive environment fostered a sense of belonging and unity among students from diverse backgrounds. This celebration became more than just an event; it became a shared experience that transcended cultural boundaries.
