The metro station in the past and now
News Brief

Dubbed as "the most remote metro station", the Fengbei metro station situated at the intersection of Pinglan Road and Feihong Road in Xiaoshan district of Hangzhou went viral on the Internet last year due to its desolate surroundings.
To prepare for the Asian Games, the metro has been renovated and now links the main venues of Hangzhou Asian Games and the Asian Games Village. Consequently, the once desolate station has triumphantly shed its previous sense of isolation.
Now, on the western side of the station lies the bustling core area of the Qianjiang Century City, adorned with an impressive skyline of towering skyscrapers. On the north bank, convergence of rivers transforms what was once a vast field into a picturesque landscape embellished with vibrant greenery. From an aerial vantage point, one cannot miss the eye-catching characters "Hangzhou" proudly displayed, symbolizing the complete metamorphosis of this station into a charming park.
Looking into the future, Fengbei Station is poised to become an integral part of the Qiantang Bay Base, serving as a hub for technology innovation headquarters, innovative financial headquarters, and international digital media headquarters.
