Is there anything special for a late-night snack around Hangzhou? Here are some local BBQ sites for barbecue lovers.
Summer is a great season for barbecue, when people gather around at restaurants or somewhere near their living places. You may like these indoor or outdoor barbecue places:
Zibo Barbecue
The rising popularity of the Zibo barbecue brings Hangzhou great power and motivation to further develop its night fair. Two barbecue restaurants situated on Gaosha Commercial Street take the torch and sell barbecue with a unique flavor and Zibo local features. The cost for two customers will be around 300 yuan, while the barbecue is rich in taste and flavor. It is said to be worth lining up for more than 2 hours.

Hongtao Barbecue
This may remind you of some early memories! Go and get a slight taste of roast meat from northeast China, as well as streaky pork with exclusively prepared fixing sauce (seasoning). It is generally delicate but cost-effective, and definitely worth a try.

Jiuxi tea garden
You are suggested to bring food and materials on your own. A large stove costs 30 yuan and can be shared by 5 to 6 people. Tables and chairs are also supplied.
Transportation: Take bus No.4, No.308, or No 324 and get off at Jiuxi station.
Breeze-ruffled Lotus at Quyuan Garden
It can be a bit crowded and noisy, at the price of 50 yuan to 80 yuan for 5 people, including a 100-yuan deposit for the stove. Card games and tea parties are good choices here.
Transportation: Take bus No.7 to Yang Gong causeway, near the west gate of the park.
Hangzhou Botanical Garden
A quiet and secluded place for those who enjoy barbecue, at the cost of around 80 yuan for 8 people, with card games, fishing and tea included.
Transportation: Take bus No.7 to the Hangzhou Flower Nursery.
