Three new Asian records were created at the "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 Chinese National Swimming Championships

People certainly have more to expect for the Asian Games when three Asian records have been broken at the just-concluded "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 Chinese National Swimming Championships from May 1 to 6. The game had more than 14,000 spectators in the Asian Games venue.

Pan Zhanle, Qin Haiyang and Sun Jiajun refreshed the men's 100m freestyle, 100 breaststroke and men's 50m breaststroke records, respectively.

Team Zhejiang topped the medal table with 18 gold medals, with the veteran champion Wang Shun winning four and Xu Jiayu winning three.

Four national-level competitions are set to take place in the Asian Games venues in the last week of May.

The "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 Chinese National Marathon Swimming Championships will kick off tomorrow with over 170 athletes from different provinces competing for the gold in 5km and 10km groups. It is the second series competition held in Chunan Jieshou Venue Cluster. The "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 First China Hangzhou (Tonglu) International Equestrian Open will kick off this weekend, participated by 50 horses from the Netherlands and their equestrians.

In addition, the "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 Chinese National Esports Championships and 2023 Chinese National Boxing Championships will be launched on May 21 and 22 at Hangzhou Gymnasium and China Hangzhou Esports Center, respectively.
