BE Health, the Corporate Social Responsibility Programme by the Kempinski Hotel, is launched in China with its first initiative to be rolled out soon in the Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou.

The Kempinski people believe that health is fundamental both from an individual and collective perspective as health is a common base needed by the world to function. In addition, hotels cannot function in isolation from their social environment and can actively contribute to the health of its employees' community. BE Health is created to raise health awareness and facilitate health-related preventive activities at each hotel worldwide and in their local communities. Under BE Health's vision of a world where health is contagious, the Kempinski hotels in China will work to foster disease prevention and healthcare for people in their communities.

The Sino-Ocean Charity Foundation shares the same philosophy and objective, and has been an effective contributor to charity since 2008. The Foundation primarily focuses on the education of underprivileged children, environmental protection. Their significant work has brought tangible improvements to the lives of people in many remote places of China as well as the education and physical and mental health of school children and adolescents nationwide.
